Walton Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine (WPSM) is a healthcare facility specializing in pulmonary and sleep disorders. WPSM currently consists of two passionate providers who are very dedicated to their patients and are readily available 24/7 to assist all their patient’s needs.

Dr. Michel Jeannot and Dr. Leonard Lim believe in educating, healing and serving their patients with one goal in mind, “Help the community Breathe Well and Enjoy Life Again”.

Getting to Know Dr. Jeannot

Dr. Jeannot is a board certified pulmonologist and sleep specialist with several years of post-training experience. He is known for his warm personality, his passion for medicine, his dedication to his patients, and his commitment to excellence. He believes in full disclosure to his patients while maintaining hope and optimism for each individual need. As a patient you will feel very comfortable during your visit and you will have the peace of mind and the convenience of having excellent pulmonary care right here in your community.

Dr. Jeannot comes to Georgia from Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He served as the Medical Director of the cardiopulmonary department, founder and director of the pulmonary rehabilitation services, and medical director of the Sleep Lab center and as the chairman of the critical care committee at Hugh Chatham Medical Center

Getting to Know Dr. Lim

Dr. Lim is board certified in both pulmonary medicine and critical care medicine. He recently completed his sub-specialty training in New York City and has recently joined Dr. Jeannot in providing excellent patient care in both the office and in the hospital. He is a staunch advocate of patient education. He is a compassionate physician who will go the extra mile to ensure that his patients are well cared for every time.

Dr. Lim has come half way around the world from Manila, Philippines. He is currently the medical director of the pulmonary rehabilitation program of Walton Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine.

Get to Know Ms. Whitaker

Kawajalein Whitaker (Kaye) is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing at Emory University and her Masters of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University.

Prior to joining Walton Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine, Kaye’s experience was predominately in the acute and intensive care settings. She began her career as a registered nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Emory University Hospital Midtown in Atlanta, GA. She later transitioned into the Intensive Care and Coronary Care Unit as a CCU registered nurse within the Wellstar Healthcare System in Austell, GA.


Through her knowledge gained in the critical care setting, it is her belief that comprehensive health management is vital for disease prevention. Her mission is to create a patient-provider relationship while delivering the most appropriate and effective treatment based on each individual patient. Her goal is to ensure all patients are adequately educated regarding their health status by providing information that will enhance their ability to have an active role in their healthcare needs.
